Interested in Travelling to Canada?

As of September 7, 2021, the Canadian borders became open for non-discretionary purposes. This means Canada is open to travel for fully vaccinated individuals.

Who Qualifies As "Fully Vaccinated"?

Canada is open to travel for the following people:

Have no signs or symptoms of COVID-19
Received one of the accepted vaccines, or a combination of them
Received your last COVID-19 vaccine dose at least 14 days from the date you enter Canada
Upload your proof of vaccination on ArriveCAN
Meet other entry requirements specified on the IRCC website

To find out more information about these requirements, please visit the IRCC website.

However, one must note that not all vaccines are approved at this time. The following vaccines are the only ones which can be accepted for the purpose of qualifying for the fully vaccinated traveler exemption:

Pfizer Cormirnaty
Moderna SpikeVax
AstraZeneca Vaxzevria/COVISHIELD
Johnson & Johnson

If you do not qualify for the fully vaccinated exemption, you may be able to enter Canada for other reasons such as work or study if you meet their quarantine requirements. To find out if you can enter Canada, please use the following online tool: Find out if you can enter Canada.
